Opportunities to Play, Develop, and Have Fun

True North EH! Team was created to give inline hockey players more chances to play, develop their skills, and compete beyond their local league. We often hear players ask, “How can I play more inline hockey?” or “My local league doesn’t offer tournaments or year-round options.” True North EH! Team is here to provide those opportunities - regardless of experience level.

Across Alberta and Canada, there are many great local leagues that help players learn and grow. But some players want more - more games, more tournaments, and the chance to challenge themselves in new ways. Often, there aren’t enough players in one area to form a full team for larger events. That’s where the True North EH! Team steps in.

WHAT WE DO

True North EH! Team brings players together from different communities to form teams that can attend tournaments and events across the region. When we have enough players and goalies in an age group, they get the chance to play together as True North EH! Team, representing their region and having fun on the rink.

TEAM STRUCTURE

• Teams carry 8–12 skaters and 1–2 goalies (goalies would split games if both agree)

• Players are placed to ensure balanced and enjoyable play

• Multiple teams in an age group may be formed when possible

COACHING

Teams are led by experienced coaches who are passionate about player development and giving back to the game. Coaches focus on fairness, growth, and creating a positive, supportive hockey experience for everyone. Many coaches are connected to programs like the Calgary Outlaws Pro Team and other local development initiatives, bringing years of experience and insight to each session.

UNIFORMS

True North EH! Team players wear a consistent team uniform that can be reused across events, helping reduce costs and build a sense of team identity.

COMPETITION LEVELS

Teams are placed in divisions (Platinum, Gold, or Silver/Club) to ensure fair matchups and enjoyable hockey experiences for all players.
