True North Eh Team Makes a Statement at NARCH Winternationals

The True North Eh Team program made a major impact this past week at the NARCH Winternationals, bringing elite Canadian roller hockey talent to one of the biggest stages in the sport.

With three teams entered across 12U, 14U, and 16U, the program wasn’t just represented; it was loud, proud, and impossible to ignore.

A Program Built Across Canada (and Beyond)

What makes True North Eh Team special is the way it brings athletes together. This year’s rosters were built from players across Canada, representing different provinces, cities, and roller hockey communities, all coming together under one identity.

And it didn’t stop there.

The Eh Team lineup also included skaters from around the world, with players joining the program from the United Kingdom, Namibia, the United States, and Hawaii, proving that the True North name is becoming a destination for competitive roller hockey.

12U and 16U Bring Home Gold

From the first puck drop, it was clear the Eh Team wasn’t at Winternationals to “gain experience.”

They came to compete.

Both the 12U and 16U teams delivered outstanding performances, battling through intense matchups and showing composure when it mattered most. Their efforts paid off hugely, as both groups captured Gold Medals in their Gold Divisions, marking an incredible accomplishment for the program and the players who earned it.

Adding to the celebration, Oscar Latos was recognized for his outstanding play in net, taking home 12U Top Goalie in the Gold Division, while Harper Royer earned Top Point Scorer in the 16U Gold Division, showcasing the skill and high-end talent within the True North roster.

14U Battles Through a Gauntlet

While the 14U team fell short in the Silver Semi-Final, their journey was one of the toughest paths any team faced at the tournament.

In the seeding round, 14U was tested immediately, matching up against three of the top four teams early on. The schedule was a grind, but the group never backed down. They showed heart, resilience, and the kind of determination that defines the True North culture.

This team didn’t leave disappointed; they left hungry.

And they’re already focused on the next opportunity.

The Future is Bright for True North

The True North Eh Team program continues to grow as a premier development and competition pathway, giving players the chance to compete at the highest level, build chemistry fast, and represent something bigger than themselves.

With two gold medals, individual award winners, a strong showing across all age groups, and a 14U squad determined to return even stronger, one thing is clear:

True North Eh Team is building something special, and this is only the beginning.

The program looks ahead to the summer season with confidence, momentum, and a standard that keeps rising.
