NARCh Winternationals and narch Finals - Flights & Accommodations Information

Please review the following information carefully when planning your travel for the NARCh WinterNationals or the NARCh Finals. Proper planning will help ensure a smooth arrival and an organized team experience.

📍 EVENT LOCATION

Irvine & Corona, California

Games and team activities will take place in these two locations. Please factor ground travel time when booking flights.

✈️ FLIGHT INFORMATION

The following airports are all acceptable options for travel to and from the event. We recommend comparing prices and schedules to find the best option for your family.

Recommended Airports

  • LAX - Los Angeles International Airport

    • Largest airport with the most flight options

    • Approx. 1-hour drive

  • SNA - John Wayne Airport (Santa Ana)

    • Closest and most convenient airport

    • Approx. 10-minute drive

    • Best option if a reasonably priced flight is available

  • BUR - Burbank Airport

    • Smaller, easy to navigate

    • Approx. 1-hour drive

  • LGB - Long Beach Airport

    • Smaller, easy in and out

    • Approx. 1-hour drive

  • ONT - Ontario International Airport

    • Smaller airport with good access

    • Approx. 1-hour drive

✅ Any of the above airports will work and provide access to the event locations.
Take the time to compare options and choose the flight that offers the best value and timing.

🚗 GROUND TRANSPORTATION

  • All players and families are responsible for their own transportation

  • Options include:

    • Rental car options are available through any company of your choice; however, we have found Budget to be the best option as they seem to consistently offer the most competitive pricing. They are also located right at the terminal in Santa Ana.

    • Ride-share services such as Uber or Lyft

    • If you are flying into John Wayne Airport (SNA) and staying at the recommended team hotel, a complimentary hotel shuttle is available for transportation to and from the airport. Please ask for details.Please plan transportation in advance to ensure timely arrival to games and team activities.

🏨 HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS

  • South Central Alberta Inline Hockey League/True North will provide official team hotel booking information

  • Staying at the team hotel is not mandatory; however, it is highly recommended to fully share in the excitement, team bonding, and overall experience for both players and parents.

Staying together is essential for:

  • Team bonding and chemistry

  • Off-rink meetings and activities

  • Creating a positive and unified team environment

Hotel booking details will be shared once finalized.

⏰ TRAVEL PLANNING REMINDERS

  • When booking flights, allow sufficient time for ground travel to arrive at the rink on time

  • If you have questions or concerns about flight options, please reach out to us before booking

🎢 EXTENDING YOUR TRIP

If you plan to attend attractions such as:

  • Disney

  • Sporting events

  • Sightseeing or family activities

Please book additional days outside of tournament dates.
These activities cannot be done on hockey days.
